Deadline for Retirement Investment Decisions

For all TDA and SCRP Accounts

The final deadline to move your TDA/SCRP account balances to where you want is October 30, 1 p.m. PST. Account balances that have not been designated within one of the four new Options will be moved November 2 into Option 1 — a Vanguard Target Retirement Fund based on your age.

If you are already contributing to a Vanguard Target Retirement Fund (Option 1) or one of the Core Vanguard funds (Option 2), you are done. No further action is required.

For the Fidelity BrokerageLink®

If you opened a brokerage account, your eligible account balances will move to your brokerage account on November 2. To start contributing to funds offered through the brokerage account with your first paycheck in November, call Fidelity between October 26 and November 9 at 1 (888) 793-8733 and press option 2.

For TIAA-CREF

To continue current contributions or start new contributions to any TIAA-CREF investment you must sign a new contract and elect your investment choices before November 5. Otherwise, contributions after November 2 go into Option 1 — a Vanguard Target Retirement Fund based on your age. Contact TIAA-CREF at (800) 842-2888 or at their Web site.

Changes To Retirement Savings Plans

Changes to the retirement investment options in the Tax-Deferred Annuity (TDA) and the Stanford Contributory Retirement Plan (SCRP) become effective November 2.
