Chances are, during your time at Stanford you will undergo a status change and/or reach a significant age or milestone. Whether cutting back to part-time or turning age 65, your benefits may change when your career does.
Job Status Change
The following status changes will affect your benefits coverage:
- Start work at Stanford
- Become newly eligible for benefits coverage
- Go from full-time to part-time employment
- Go from part-time to full-time employment
- Get rehired, recalled or retire
Age/Service Milestones
There are a few milestones that may affect your benefits:
- Complete one year employment at Stanford
- Reach age 50-1/2
- Reach age 65
- Reach age 70-1/2
- Retire
- Terminate Stanford employment
